General Postal Mail Privacy Policy
As an organization serving Lakota children and their families on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in educational and parish settings and through The Heritage Center, privacy is very important to us. We also respect your right to privacy and we are happy to share this policy with you.
1. Mailing List:
Friends who make donations or request information are put on our mailing list. We do purchase names and postal addresses from other respected organizations. These groups have been carefully screened through The Direct Mail Association. 2. Renting/Exchanging Names:
We make select portions of our postal mailing list available to carefully screened organizations. However, you always have the option to be removed from our exchange and rental lists. 3. Birthdates:
Sometimes we receive birth dates from various persons and sources so that we can send a card and remember you in our prayers on your birthday. We do not share this information. 4. Credit Card Information:
We use a credit card processor for some donations. This company does not share or use personally identifiable information for secondary purposes. All credit card information is shredded or destroyed and is not retained without your permission.
5. Off-line Info:
All off-line information is securely stored and is accessible only by authorized staff.
6. Special Requests:
Our goal is to provide a quality education of the mind and heart to the Lakota students of Red Cloud Indian School and pastoral assistance to their families. We are happy to honor all reasonable instructions and requests. We encourage our friends to contact us via telephone, mail or email at any time with concerns, changes, questions or comments.

We also protect account information by placing it on a secure portion of our site that is only accessible by certain qualified employees of Red Cloud Indian School. 9. Opt-Out or Change Your Contact Information
